Sailing the Cabo Sea 🚤 🌊

If you have never gone sailing before, it is such a wonderful experience. Before sailing ⛵️, I would avoid it because I figured that I would get sea sick 🤒. Here is a voyage that I took along the Sea of Cortez in Cabo San Lucas: youtube.com/shorts/JgOcPplWsH4

Prior to this voyage, I took my first cruise with Carnival. I packed Dramamine, a wristband (that helps avoid seasickness) and I packed the little circle bandaid type strips that are designed to go behind your ear. To my surprise, I did not get seasick but felt pretty sick because I spent money on all of these products that are designed to help prevent seasickness 😂.

Still, it is always better to be safe rather than sorry. I had a wonderful time on both the Carnival and Cabo voyage. As you can tell from the video, the weather was very beautiful and the waves were not as choppy. Truly one of the best voyages that I have been on because of the weather and the wonderful tour guide that we had on that day.

Cruise Cabin Ocean Views 😆!

Isn’t it just spectacular 🤩? When I saw this when I took my first cruise, I was truly amazed. Seeing the waves in the vast ocean, just blew my mind. Almost could not sleep seeing this amazing sight.

Most times when I have seen video from a cruise 🚢, I have rarely seen what the cabin rooms look like or the ocean view from within the cabin. I am glad to at least check one of these items off of the list for all of you that will view the video. I will have to look through my video archive to see if I have room pictures 😂.

The views that we see on vacation, oftentimes gets burned into our mind and this particular trip provided no exception. I hope that you enjoy the video and that you have a great week ahead!

The ocean is the perfect shade of blue. Makes you want to just jump in for a swim 😂. This is the type of beauty that you can expect upon visiting the Big Island of Hawaii! I am sure that you have heard great things and have seen beautiful pictures and videos. Nothing can prepare you for visiting and seeing the beauty first hand.

Before going on this trip, I was warned from a colleague that it is nothing to be compared with my previous trips. To tell the truth, I dismissed this instantly. I told her that I had been to Cabo San Lucas, Montego Bay, Nassau etc. She told me that there is absolutely no comparison 😂.

I went for myself to see and as she suspected, I was completely blown away. I had never previously visited a place that had both beaches, mountains and a live volcano 🌋. I saw all of these with my own eyes and I was astounded 😳.

The view of Kailua Bay in Downtown Kona, Hawaii is just so heavenly 😇. I firmly believe that there are pieces of paradise sprinkled around this beautiful world that we live in. If you have traveled around this world 🌎, you have undoubtedly seen proof of beauty that leaves you speechless and instantly makes you a storyteller.

Included down by the bay is a small beach that I got a chance to swim at. This beach is called Niumalu Beach 🏖. Nice beach especially for kids since the water is fairly shallow, at least closer to the shore but as you get out further in the bay, the water gets deeper.

I love the beautiful contrast between the blue water and the black sand. It is just magnificent!😄 What an excellent location to spend your time. I highly recommend visiting the Big Island of Hawaii. You will not only see beautiful beaches like the one of the video, but also waterfalls and mountains 🏔.

Hawaii is a must see for anyone that needs a vacation from the ordinary. Out of all the destinations that I have visited, Hawaii is the very best!😄 I look back at these pictures and I am amazed still. I know that you will be amazed! 😃

Waterfall Chaser😎!

Such a beautiful scene😻. Hard to believe that I got this close to one. In Akaka State Park in Hawaii, there are two: Akaka Falls (this one) and Kalua Falls. They are so incredible to see in person. You will be completely blown away by the beauty!

Before going to this park, I had never seen a waterfall before other than in videos posted online. I was determined that this would be the trip that I would have this experience. I looked up the directions from my hotel room and made the trek to boldly go where I had never gone before 😂.

What I did not realize at the time is how mountainous the Big Island of Hawaii is. As I got to higher elevations, my ears were popping and the road seemed more and more winding. When I saw the “Watch out for falling rocks” signs, uh 🙄 I got a little nervous 😬.

Thankfully 😅, I did not encounter any falling rocks 🪨 along the way but I captured some unbelievable views from within the park. It was a dream come true! 😃

Lake Dallas looks amazing from high above! Certainly something to behold for sure. A day in the air is just absolute happiness for me.😃 This particular day was nice and clear which made for a great time to capture this video.

Of course as we all know, not all sky views are worth capturing 😂. I have spent a great deal of my airtime, in the past, not capturing these beautiful views. The inability to travel on last year, changed my perspective totally. I used to take these magical moments for granted, but now I no longer do.

I believe that I am not alone. This past weekend, while traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday, I boarded a plane ✈️ in which every window seat was taken! 😃That has never happened in my travels before but it happened on that flight. Perhaps the pandemic has changed a lot of folks viewing habits.

Cozumel Ocean Views😎🤩❤️

Hope that you like the view! The beautiful area that you see in the video is called the Dolphin Discovery. In this area, as the name implies, you can discover the dolphins that are in the ocean. You could even swim with the dolphins 🐬, which is so very cool 😎.

In addition to swimming and discovering the dolphins, you can shop, discover sea lions and even hang out at the beach. I did as much as you can do on a 6 hour cruise excursion. It was such an incredible place to experience so many different things.

As I mentioned, this was a cruise excursion but I really would like to go back when I had more time to explore. Can you believe that they can have tequila tasting there? Absolutely missed the opportunity to partake in this but I will make sure to have more time next time 😂.

Paradise Found – Black Sand Beach 🏖 😎🏖

I love the great contrast between the sand and the blue water😃. What a spectacular day it was to be there also. I was particularly grateful on this day because on my previous visit to this beach, it was raining cats and dogs 😂. I had no other choice but to leave because the weather was so bad.

On my trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, I was looking forward to having this experience. I could not wait to experience this for myself. The sand was so cool to the touch, if it was possible to take some of the sand back to me, I would have, just as a great souvenir!

After going to my first black sand beach, I am now looking for opportunities to go to other black sand beaches! They are so beautiful and an awesome wonder. I will need to visit the Big Island again to see if I can visit a green sand beach 🏖. Imagine how cool that would be!

24k Cruise Views from Carnival🤩🙌😎

This view is from the Lido Deck onboard the Carnival Cruise Ship🚢. Back in pre-pandemic times, this is what the atmosphere looked like. During the time we currently live in, it looks too crowded but certainly hard to believe that this was normal at one time.

To be completely honest, I would like to sail again when the times captured in the video return. No doubt, the industry is doing all that it can to keep people safe now, but pre-pandemic times, in my opinion, provided the most fun because you could interact with the most people.

Hopefully those times will return soon but in the meantime, there are other adventures to explore. Definitely encourage everyone to works, vacation and repeat, especially during the holidays. Does not matter where you go, just go 😂. You owe it to yourself for all of the hard work during the course of the year!
