Viva Na Pali😎⛵️🌺!

I have been to a lot of places, visited quite a bit of countries and done a lot of things😊 while traveling. I regard visiting the Na Pali Coast as the #1 most beautiful trips that that I have ever taken. The views were just breathtaking and left you speechless 😶. You are left in awe and wonder when looking at the magnificent blue water with the incredible backdrop of mountainous terrain. It is no wonder in my mind, why a famous travel quote was penned, “Travel leaves you speechless and you become a storyteller at the same time”. Isn’t it just lovely? If you can believe it, this was just the start of the trip 😂. There were so many more sights to see and they were even more incredible than this one. If you are curious, I invite you to explore some previous posts that I have wrote about on this blog. I was in shock and awe when I set sail and started to see how incredibly beautiful the views were.

I have often heard it mentioned that sometimes we are so busy making a living that we forget to make a life. I truly believe in this and I challenge myself to be more about making a life. Life is so much more worth living when you have some enjoyment (travel or otherwise) interwoven in the fabric of day to day life. This trip was a fantastic way that I chose to make a life and have a new experience. I sincerely cannot wait to return to Kauai and take this magnificent voyage again! 😊

Waterfall Wednesday😎🌺❤️❤️!

Chasing waterfalls is a passion of mine 😂! I saw my first waterfall and I have been hooked on waterfalls ever since. In fact, this video shows the first waterfall (Kahuna Falls) that I have ever hiked to and it is a beauty: youtube.com/shorts/Osa-p5p4fA0

Hope that you enjoyed the video😃! As you can tell from the video, it was not a very sunny day 😂. Actually it was raining 🌧 a lot on that day, so it was a wet hike to Kahuna Falls. Thankfully the hike wasn’t very far. I parked on the outside of the park, paid the fee and entered the park. The place where this waterfall is located is called the Akaka State Park located in Hilo, Hawaii.

Hilo is located on the Big Island 🏝 of Hawaii. From my hotel 🏨, it took about an hour and 30 minutes 😀to get to Akaka Falls State Park. It was so well worth the drive😃! It was such an incredible experience and certainly one that I definitely recommend to any tourist visiting the island.

If you love waterfalls and would love to see one on an excursion, I suggest seeking out waterfalls that may be close to where you live, or take a trip, like I did, to see one for yourself 😎. I am a believer of exploring the world 🌎 and all of its beauty. Waterfalls are certainly unlike anything else on earth 🌍!

Beautiful Hawaii 🌺😍😻!

It is a magnificent shade of green captured in the video. Perhaps the nature of Hawaii is the most underrated aspect of Hawaii. Turns out that the government in Hawaii, goes to great lengths to preserve these natural views. They make sure that developers could only build in designated parts of Hawaii.

The beautiful place that you see in the video was captured in Lihue, Hawaii which is miles away from beautiful Kauai 😊. I felt as if I was visiting a different world looking at these views🌎. In the mainland USA 🇺🇸, nature is sacrificed in the name of development all of the time 😂.

As a result, in some places, you struggle to find nature of any kind. Meanwhile, concrete jungles of roads, stores and movie theaters abound. Makes you really think 🤔 of whether our priorities might be a little bit misguided! 😊

Waterfall Vibes – Unbelievable 🤩❤️🙏🏽!

How I love chasing waterfalls 😍! Made popular by the 90s group, TLC – chasing waterfalls has been on folks minds ever since then. I have always wanted to see them for the first time, up close and personal, just to see what all of the hype is about. This sight was just phenomenal🤩. I could not believe my own eyes. Such a wonderful sight. If you haven’t seen a waterfall, make sure you plan to do so. It could be as massive as this one or even smaller than the one above. The great thing about Hawaii is that waterfalls abound almost on every single island 🏝.

This particular one is called Akaka Falls and it is located in the Akaka Falls State Park in Hilo, Hawaii. Hilo is at a higher elevation than the rest of the Big Island 🏝 of Hawaii, so get ready for mountain elevation. The air tends to be a lot thinner in the mountains 🏔 as I discovered when hiking to see this waterfall 😂. I was panting a lot – since I was not accustomed to higher elevations.

It was an adventure that I would absolutely do again. I always love to see new places and experience new things. Certainly some the great opportunities that travel affords you!

Slow Ride – Aloha Style😍❤️❤️!

Nothing like a great scenic views😍! My preferred mode of travel is an airplane but nothing quite beats a scenic drive. It has often been said that half the fun of travel is the journey to get there. This video was taken on the way down from Waimea Canyon in Hawaii. As you can tell from the video – the views are just incredible😊! I don’t think that I have seen such scenic views before traveling here. I have previously shared, on earlier blog posts, the wonderful sights from Waimea Canyon. Never before have I shared such picturesque sky views from the journey.

Travel certainly opens your heart and broadens your mind. At the time that this video was captured, this was the final day of the vacation, so my trip to Kauai was winding down. The sky provided one last beautiful moment to add to the other beautiful moments that were captured during my stay.

Tropical 🌴 Vibes for the Weekend 😍❤️🔥

Tropical vibes are the best vibes 😊! I love traveling to tropical places and experiencing tropical adventures😃. For me, I could retire on a tropical island somewhere and live happily ever after. That’s my retirement plan for sure 😂. The toughest thing for me will be figuring out which tropical island that I would like to retire on.

If there is ever one island that stands out in my mind, it would be the beautiful island of Kauai, which absolutely took my breath away😃. I have never seen an island as beautiful as I saw visiting Kauai. To say that it is the number one travel location that I have ever visited, is spot on. The video above, captures some of the Smith Fern Grotto, which is a must see when visiting Kauai. If you are a lover of all things tropical, look no further than the Smith Fern Grotto. In order to get here, you have to take a 15-20 minute boat ride and walk through a small forest to get there!

Cruising is Fun 🤩!

Cruising is fun especially when you are on a magnificent vacation of your dreams 😃. I am an avid cruiser and I love being out on the deep blue sea. Keeping my balance was the goal here and thankfully 😅 I succeeded 😂. It was a little on the slippery side and of course, the boat was moving pretty fast 😃. Mission accomplished and the picture captures the wonderful excitement that I was feeling at the time.

The wonderful things about visiting the Napali Coast is observing the beautiful ocean and the gorgeous mountains. You travel for views like these and you are rewarded accordingly 😂. There is just something so very peaceful about cruising that makes you forget about the rest of the world 🌎.

Out there, everything feels right even if in reality, it is not.😃 Travel affords you the opportunity to take a break from the regular and mundaneness that we often experience during the course of life. We could all use a break from time to time. The key to taking a vacation is to plan for a vacation! My planning usually takes place months in advance in order to get the cheapest price available. I definitely encourage everyone to do the same!😃

Bad Guy Vibes-Hawaii Style🌺😎!

Nothing like a great performance😃! Especially when it involves fire 🔥. I did not know that I was a fan of fire shows until I saw my first fire show in Hawaii. If you have never been to one of these shows, do yourself a favor and sign up for one. I was very fortunate to have this performance at the hotel that I was staying in. This guy is just talented😃! I shudder to think how many times he might have gotten burned doing this 😂 but he has perfected his trade 😃. The name of the fire show is called the Ahi Uila Fire Show and it can be booked from the Hilton Garden Inn in Kauai. Hawaii.

I really had an awesome time😃. This was so much of a great, rich experience 😃. Turns out that these type of shows are a part of the luau experience and is heavily integrated into the Hawaiian 🌺 culture.

As you can tell, these families were having a total blast 💥! I was enjoying all of the whale 🐳 and dolphin 🐬 watching. This was a cruise of a lifetime. I have never been on a more exciting cruise 🚢 in my life.

This is the first time I had been on a whale and dolphin watching cruise. It was just totally amazing 🤩! I have been on many cruises before (check out my blog to see more) 😂, but this cruise 🚢 was absolutely superb.

Kauai can be characterized as just superb also 😀. Trust me, if you visit this beautiful location, you will not want to go home 😂. I wanted to become a resident after visiting for less than a week. It is such an easy going place, the main highway has a speed limit of 25 miles per hour 😂. Cannot get any more easy going than that!

Just Cruising-Hawaii Style😎🌴🌴🌊!

Nothing like cruising on a catamaran- soaking in all of nature’s beautiful views😎! The more exotic the location, the more impressive the views are. After having visited the Big Island of Hawaii on last year, I was thoroughly impressed! As I am writing this blog post now, I am still impressed. The combination of waterfalls, beaches, mountains (skiing takes place there – unbelievable) and the only active volcano on the Hawaiian 🌺 islands (Kilauea), is hard to beat on any island.

Kauai blew all of my expectations out of the water 💦. It was such a relaxing trip and the views are second to none 🤩! The otherworldly views are like none that I have ever seen. It is no wonder that Jurassic Park movies were filmed here. I feel like I need to watch each of them again to see all the beautiful scenery that I can now name after seeing the island on vacation.
