Getting outdoors clears the heart and the mind. Nothing like the wonderful fresh air that is felt when you leave even the comforts of your home and venture out . If you have followed my blog, you realize that any day at sea, is happiness to me 😃. One of those such sea adventures happened on the high seas of Costa Maya, Mexico and it is captured here: youtube.com/shorts/ia1zjm8TF2c
The ocean was just a perfect shade of blue on that day😎. I still look back in awe when I see this video. It is not only very beautiful but you also see just how massive cruise ships are 😂. It is a wonder how they are able to stay on top of the water. From the sheer weight, they should sink but of course they design the ships a certain way to ensure that they stay above the water.
My fear of sailing on all of this massive water, kept me from wanting to cruise at all for so many years. I look back in regret now because I could have been to so many more places 😂 had I not been afraid to take a cruise. You cannot get these type of views staying on land, you have to be willing to venture out from the land.
If fear is holding you back, you are in good company- others, including myself, have been there. When it is safe and you are comfortable, try it out for the first time and see if you like it. Who knows, you could be hooked like I am and start seeing the world differently- from aboard a cruise ship😃 🚢!
Once upon a cruise, I had the time of my life 😃! There was a lot of singing and most certainly a lot of dancing like the video captured here: youtube.com/shorts/ZFHUBtD0vk4
Doesn’t this look like fun? 😜 The video gives you some idea of the overall atmosphere on this Carnival – Western Caribbean cruise. The place where all of this fun takes place is called the Lido Deck. That is where dance parties, exercising and other entertaining group activities take place. This place can accommodate the largest number of guests at the same time.
If you have seen other blog posts of mine, you have undoubtedly seen a few concerts from the cruise ships. The concerts happen on the Lido Deck. As you might imagine, there are extra protocols being followed in the pandemic world that we live in now, but rest assured, this type of entertainment continues on, albeit in a limited capacity.
Once you are comfortable with taking a cruise, I encourage you to do so. I am sure that the industry would love to have new and experienced cruisers, as their industry has lost billions of dollars as a result of the pandemic.
Hello October😊 and Happy Friday to all. We are quickly rushing into the last quarter of the year and before you know it, 2022 will be here. In order to celebrate this, I want to share the party vibes (Pre-Covid) that I vividly remember from my last Carnival Cruise: youtube.com/shorts/MI5bseTBf0U Hope that you enjoy 😊!
These were the good old days for sure and I definitely miss them. The good news is that these times will return, we will experience them again! There are seasons in life that are experienced. They seem forever at the time but they come and go.
This particular video was recorded during dinner time on the cruise. This dance party happens on every Carnival Cruise. Most definitely, it looks different nowadays but it is fun nonetheless. The kids dancing 💃 🕺🏾in the video is what makes this video most enjoyable! I smile every time I view it.
Let the good times roll😃 Happy Friday and Happy October 🎉🎉🎉
There is absolutely nothing like seeing kids dancing and having a great time.😊 I captured just a moment when I was on a Carnival Cruise sailing to the Western Caribbean. If you could use a smile on today, feel free to check this out: youtube.com/shorts/_AHOS_ttypM
It certainly put a big smile on my face 😁! Hope it did for you as well. If you like this type of fun, Carnival specializes in these dance sessions during dinner time. There is usually at least one for every night. So if dancing is your thing, get ready to dance into the night.
Hard to believe that this much fun can be a part of the dinner entertainment but it most certainly is. I remember the first time that i experienced this, I was totally shocked. The waiters and waitresses suddenly stop what they are doing ,once the music starts, and then breaks into a well choreographed dance routine 😂! That gets everyone else dancing and before long, the restaurant breaks into a dance party. 💃🕺🏾
Hope that you get to experience one of these dance parties in the near future. Until then, take a look at other blog post videos that I have captured on this site.
Have you ever seen a cruise ship? If you have never been on a cruise or it has been a while, take a look at this video of the Port of Cozumel: youtube.com/shorts/_-r2pSrIviQ
As you can see, they are massive 😂! It makes you seriously wonder, how are they able to float on the water? It is an amazing phenomenon. Especially when you take into account the weight of the ship and the weight of hundreds of people that are on the ship.
Carnival Cruises does a phenomenal of making the cruise experience so enjoyable. I was, for along time, a person that did not want to take a cruise. I seriously could not fathom why anyone would want to do it. I could not see how it could be fun in any way.
Boy was I wrong..it was an experience like none other. After the first cruise, I was hooked and I have been cruising ever since🤩! Truly the most fun that you can have on a vacation is taking a cruise. There is something for everyone and you are left with a lifetime of memories.
If you have never been on a cruise, please do yourself a favor, post pandemic, and go! 😊if you are possibly thinking that it might not be fun, take a look at this video for a sneak preview: youtube.com/shorts/dngCyxTylQM
I used to be a person that thought that cruises were not fun, until I finally made the leap of faith and tried it. It was so much fun that I could not wait to go back.
Now is certainly not the time to go, but cruises will be making a comeback to a port near you very soon 😎
There are some weeks that you are particularly glad that you made it to the end of. This is one of those weeks for me. For me it started with a busy last weekend that spilled over to an even busier week. Well, we made it here and I am certainly looking forward to re-energizing over the weekend.
With that in mind, I can’t stop the feeling that the above video gives. I was aboard Carnival Cruise line en-route to the Western Caribbean when this dance party took place. I cannot remember if it was on a Friday or not but it is needed every day of the week and twice on Sunday 😂.
In the days in which we live in, it is hard to find a whole lot to celebrate 🎉 as every time on the news, there is depressing news after depressing news. I hope that this provides a glimpse of better times behind and better days ahead! Have a great day.😃
This was quite an experience, taking a boat tour out to the beautiful waters of Cabo San Lucas. For me it was a dream come true. This trip was booked through Trip Advisor and what a magnificent trip it was.
The video shows a glimpse of Lovers Beach which is located right outside of the world famous Cabo San Lucas Arch! You will see more of the Arch in later posts. There is also a Divorce Beach nearby 😂, which I thought was very funny!
The tour includes views of not just Lovers Beach 🏖 and the Arch but also other views (i.e. Neptune’s Finger, Pathway to the Pacific etc). If you love sailing, you will love this glass bottom boat tour!
Touring this gorgeous city was a dream come true, as you can tell from the video. What a magnificent place to see. Felt just like paradise on earth. As often is the case, it never seems long enough – no matter how much time you spend vacationing.
This slice of heaven was seen during my drive to the black sand beach (Punalu’u) which I have discussed on previous posts in this blog. Seeing views like these, in addition to experiencing the awesome nature of Hawaii, is well worth the time and money that it takes to visit,
Looking forward to more adventures in the foreseeable future!
Manhattan, New York is certainly one of the best places that I have had the pleasure of visiting 😄! The city really just takes your breath away. There is so much to do and so little time to do it unless you have a couple of weeks to vacation there.
During my travels there, I have seen so much. At last count, I probably have been there at least 7 times, and I must admit, I have not seen all there is to see of the city. I have visited the Empire State Building, 30 Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Broadway, Central Park etc.
Still on the list: Battery Park, World Trade Memorial, Radio City Music Hall etc. Hopefully, once the pandemic 😷 cases drop and travel get back to normal, I could visit these attractions among others. One of the attractions that I would certainly recommend is the Circle ⭕️ Line Tour. It is an absolute must when visiting the city. You get a chance to see all of NYC from a boat. In addition, you see the Brooklyn Bridge, Yankee Stadium etc.
As always, I have attached a video that includes a few of the sights and sounds of the city 🌃. Enjoy!
