Travels to the Bahamas

Isn’t it remarkable? I had a wonderful time onboard and an overall excellent time visiting Belize, Mexico and Honduras 🇭🇳.
Jamaica is one of the most beautiful island destinations that you will ever see. It is truly an amazing mix of views, vibes and culture. Sailing is a relaxing experience 😃So relaxing that if you do it once, you will want to do it again. It is certainly an incredible experience that you are sure to enjoy. My experience sailing/cruising has been, up to this point, on Carnival. Carnival does an excellent job of keeping you relaxed and keeping you engaged during your entire voyage. So very fun and very entertaining at the same time. Could not believe my eyes when I got on the ship 🚢 but I quickly realized that this first sail away entertainment, was just preparing me for the fun that would come everyday during the cruise experience.
It was a lot of fun, to say the least. There is something for kids of all ages to do. Really the only thing that you will manage is your time to do everything there is to offer. Cruising is totally next level and you will leave the experience, leaps and bounds better than you started it!
So if you have been on the fence about taking a cruise for 2023 – this is absolutely your sign to do so. Cruises are taking new voyages and the sooner that you book, the cheaper it will be 😃!

This is such a gorgeous view 😃❤️! Imagine waking up to this type of view. If you have never taken a cruise 🚢, you are well overdue. In talking with folks, down through the years, many people would like to go on a cruise but think that it is either: too expensive or that there is not enough to do.
I can speak to both concerns. Cruises are economical because you have the option of paying over time. This was a great sell for me because that was one of my concerns also. I remember booking this trip in August and paying for it in easy installments from August until January.
There is absolutely so many things to do, once you are on a cruise 🚢. From comedy shows, Las Vegas style shows, concerts etc. you will love the cruise experience 😀. There is something to do for kids and kids at heart.
Did I mention how relaxing the experience is? I was a stark critic of going on a cruise and it only took one cruise for me to see the light 😂. I have been on more cruises 🚢 since then and I have enjoyed them all.

Sometimes in life, making decisions require a leap of faith. I totally had to take a leap of faith while visiting Atlantis! If you have not been there before, there is a 60 foot water slide called the Leap of Faith – which requires courage and faith to experience it 😂. In an effort of full transparency, I look back at the photos captured and I am still amazed that I took this experience head on 😂. I remember it being such a thrill ride and so exciting at the same time. Not sure that I have had an experience in my life that comes close to the excitement that I felt on this ride. I would highly recommend taking on this experience, if you have an opportunity to visit some time in the future.
In addition to the Leap of Faith Water Slide, there are so many other water slides and pools that you can experience. It should be noted that not all of the slides are the 60 foot variety but there are smaller slides there. If lazy rivers are appealing, there are a number of those that are located in Atlantis.
Atlantis is very family friendly, there is truly something to do for the whole family. You will definitely enjoy your time there! 😃
I remember when I visited Disney World as an adult, a number of years ago. I remember waiting for the bus to take me from my on-site hotel to Epcot Center. I was staying at the French Quarter Resort (excellent beignets BTW). While I was outside waiting on the shuttle bus, I saw that one of the folks waiting with me had on an Atlantis Water Adventure shirt. At the time, I had never heard of Atlantis but I was very intrigued that it was in The Bahamas, which is where I always wanted to visit. To my surprise, not only was it a water park but it had on-site hotels just like Disney. Five years after seeing that Atlantis shirt, I booked a trip to see the lost city of Atlantis 😂. My oh my, was I blown away. Atlantis is a world of fun, contained on the beautiful island of Nassau. First tropical island that I had ever visited and since that time, it has held a special place in my heart.
Not sure if you have heard the tag line or the seen the hashtag #itsbetterinthebahamas, but I can confirm that whatever “it” is, it is truly better there. I had so much fun on the water rides and the hotels were the epitome of luxury. I stayed at the Beach Tower Hotel and it was wonderfully superb.

When I went, there was no such thing as Covid-19, so if you travel there now, follow all safety precautions in order to get the most out of your stay.
