Volcano πŸŒ‹ Vent – Stand Back!

Coming in hot on a a Monday! Hope that you have a wonderful week. Wanted to take the time to share a cool experience that I had viewing a volcano vent for the first time outside of Mount Kilauea😊. If you would like to see more, please check out the video: youtube.com/shorts/gtO1DzPQElE

As you can see from the video, the steam form the volcano is coming in very hot πŸ₯΅ so you most definitely have to stand back! What you may or may not be able to tell from the video is that it is so very cold around the volcano. That is why we are dressed like we are with hoodies, jackets etc.

It is hard to believe that you can experience cold in Hawaii, but surprisingly you can. The Big Island of Hawaii, in addition to the beautiful beaches and warm weather, also has mountains and higher elevations which contributes to the colder weather. When you visit Hawaii, expect to pack shorts and also jackets and hoodies 😊. This is totally based upon the type of experience you are looking to have.

I like to take it all in, so I pack for the beach and for visiting the mountains and volcanoes. You only live once, so why not πŸ˜‚. Makes for a lifetime of memories that you can share which makes your experience so much richer.

Fancy Like – Sailing ⛡️

Over the past couple of years, I have grown very fond of sailing. I went from never sailing prior to 2018 to sailing at least once a year. Sailing has a way of calming you as you are out on the sea.

One such voyage is captured here in the beautiful waters of Cabo San Lucas:youtube.com/shorts/wyuJsVzlVGw

The rock structure that you see (the one that looks like a finger) is called Neptune’s Finger and it is located in the Sea of Cortez which is the body of water captured in the video. Seeing views like these, even now, just blows my mind. Especially being this close to it, just amazes me.

During this trip I saw the world famous Cabo San Lucas Arch, Lovers Beach, Pathway to the Pacific etc. What a magnificent sailing trip this was. Cannot wait to go back! πŸ˜ƒ

Shower Vibes – Kalahari 😎

Nothing quite refreshes like water😎A shower always gets you going to start the day. Check out these shower 🚿vibes courtesy of Kalahari Water Parks and Resorts: youtube.com/shorts/NjaumWqTvS4

I have only visited this resort once but I can most certainly tell you, it will not be the last time. As the summer season is ending, it is the perfect place to go to hang on to summer for just a little while longer.

It happens to be the only indoor waterpark in Texas. So you can literally visit even when summer has come to an end. The waterpark vibes are still in effect. No sun β˜€οΈ, no problem😊.

This Kalahari location opened November 2020 and on this particular day this past summer, it was packed with other fun seekers like myself. If you are a fellow fun seeker, you will enjoy this waterpark and resort!

Views for days – All AboardπŸ˜ƒ!

If you never have been onboard a Carnival Cruise, feel free to take a (pre-pandemic) look at what it is like: youtube.com/shorts/Z3G45L80oDQ

Cruises are just so much fun😎 If you have never cruised before, do yourself a favor and do so, if only once! If you have cruised before, you know the feeling of relaxation that you get from being on a cruise. Unlike anything that I have personally experienced before.

On this particular cruise, we were our way to the Western Caribbean where we spent time in Costa Maya, Belize and Cozumel. As you can see from the locations listed, a cruise enables you to see these beautiful locations all in one trip. Otherwise, you would have to book separate trips to each one.

Of course this was pre- pandemic 😷 so things would likely have changed since this time. I plan to cruise again next year and I am definitely looking forward to it. Hope to see you on a future trip!

Labor Day Views from Cabo😎🏝

Can you believe these awesome views? youtube.com/shorts/tuhIhRR-050 They are absolutely amazing 😻! Hard to believe that this much fun was contained all in one place. I had so much fun taking the glass boat ride, along the Sea of Cortez, in addition to spending time touring Cabo San Lucas and surrounding areas.

Cabo San Lucas is an absolute gem of a vacation destination. It was one of the top bucket list places on my list. During this visit, I was able to visit a glass blowing factory, eat lunch in Downtown San Jose del Cabo, partake in tequila tasting (yum) and also visit the city of Los Cabos.

I was able to book this trip all on Trip Advisor. It had all of the above mentioned excursions included. A tour bus comes to get you in the morning and you get back to the hotel in the evening. Pretty much a full day of fun in the sun β˜€οΈ!

Vacation Mode on πŸ˜ŽπŸπŸŽ‰πŸŽŠ!

Nothing like going on a nice, relaxing vacation. Vacationing is chicken soup for your mind, body and soul πŸ˜‚! I experienced this form of self love while visiting the Big Island of Hawaii. Here is a video of Kailua Bay, which is located in Downtown Kona on the Big Island: youtube.com/shorts/8yJb3p5M6hU

I love watching the waves gently hitting the shoreline. This provide such a welcome break from the mundane, day to day life that we often experience. Nothing quite like getting away. Travel truly provides mental health therapy that is so needed in the stressful times that we live in.

If you are looking to experience peace and quiet, look no further than downtown Kona. I highly recommend this great scenery along with the wonderful restaurants, novelty shops and of course the beautiful people that make everything else so worthwhile. πŸ˜€

Akaka State Park Nature Views πŸ˜»β€οΈπŸ™Œ- unbelievable πŸ˜†

Cannot get any better than these views here: youtube.com/shorts/oIAlLX9UnfU

If you are a fan of nature, feel free to check out the link above. Almost every spot in this park is just incredible. This video was taken on a very rainy day and you can still appreciate the beautiful green scenery that is on full display here.

These heavenly views are excellent but the views of the waterfalls are even better. If you have followed this blog or are thinking of following this blog, feel free to take a look at all of the waterfall pictures that I have posted previously. They will indeed take your breath away.

This awesome wonder is only a glimpse of what you will find when you visit Akaka State Park in Hilo, Hawaii. You are sure to enjoy every last minute of it! πŸ˜†πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜»

Aloha Friday πŸ–πŸ! Beach views from the Fairmont Orchid Hotel – Hawaii

If you have never visited the Fairmont Orchid Hotel, take a sneak peak here πŸ‘‰youtube.com/shorts/N4Ah–rmWnw

Very beautiful hotel to spend well earned vacation time at πŸ˜€! Such a picturesque hotel with well manicured landscapes and unbelievable architecture. You will enjoy every minute of this beautiful stay.

It is conveniently located about 5 minutes from the Kona airport. It is also located close to the Four Seasons hotel where the rich and famous spend their time at in Hawaii.

If you are considering a vacation in Kona, Hawaii, I definitely recommend staying at this gorgeous place😎

This is Dynamite 🧨 😎! Making of a glass turtle in Cabo San Lucas πŸ– 🏝

One of the best travel videos that I have ever captured is included right here πŸ‘‰youtube.com/shorts/xCvkkdRgeK0

It is so amazing to watch this poetry in motion. The making of this glass turtle was unlike anything that I had ever seen before. It was incredible to see how the turtle is made from glass and even more so to find out that this art is not taught there inside Cabo but takes years and years of practice.

It really made me appreciate the glass blowing process. This process takes such refinement and absolute precision to be able to create the desired product. This stop at the glass factory was part of the Sailing Cabo San Lucas – Glass Boat Tour which also include tequila tasting and a tour of San Jose Del Cabo downtown area.

Hope that you enjoy this video and appreciate its mastery – it is an awesome wonder! πŸ˜ƒ
