Volcano 🌋 Vent – Stand Back!

Coming in hot on a a Monday! Hope that you have a wonderful week. Wanted to take the time to share a cool experience that I had viewing a volcano vent for the first time outside of Mount Kilauea😊. If you would like to see more, please check out the video: youtube.com/shorts/gtO1DzPQElE

As you can see from the video, the steam form the volcano is coming in very hot 🥵 so you most definitely have to stand back! What you may or may not be able to tell from the video is that it is so very cold around the volcano. That is why we are dressed like we are with hoodies, jackets etc.

It is hard to believe that you can experience cold in Hawaii, but surprisingly you can. The Big Island of Hawaii, in addition to the beautiful beaches and warm weather, also has mountains and higher elevations which contributes to the colder weather. When you visit Hawaii, expect to pack shorts and also jackets and hoodies 😊. This is totally based upon the type of experience you are looking to have.

I like to take it all in, so I pack for the beach and for visiting the mountains and volcanoes. You only live once, so why not 😂. Makes for a lifetime of memories that you can share which makes your experience so much richer.

Life is a Beach 🏖😎🙌!

This particular beach is called Punalu’u Beach and it is located on the Big Island of Hawaii between the towns of Pahala and Naalehu in Kau.,If you have seen other blog posts of mine before, I have referenced this particular beach before. The cool thing about black sand is that it is very cool to the the touch. This is mainly due to the minerals that are found in the sand. Hard to believe that black sand is cooler to the touch than white sand 😃

From the video you can tell that it was pretty windy outside. It was a great combination between the nice breeze and the warm (just right) temperature that we experienced on that day. Made for a wonderful day to be outside for sure!

The view here was just outstanding! Still cannot believe the peace and serenity that this view provided. This particular video was taking outside a local bakery 🥯 that is very popular there. Not only was the food superb but the views were also. Could not believe how beautiful the scenery was.

In the video, the palm trees are awesome. If you look a little closer, the mountains are in the background of the video. Certainly unbelievable that you could have both in one view but that is the beauty of Hawaii😃

Astronaut in the Ocean – Kailua Bay Vibes

In this video, I was just observing and enjoying all of the natural beauty before my eyes. Thankfully, I was able to soak in all of the views that I saw here at Kailua Bay. What a beautiful day it was to be outside. Down in this area of Downtown Kona, Hawaii, this bay is on one side of the street and shops and restaurants are in the other side. Can it really get any better than this? 😃

To be able to fully appreciate this area, you must go visit for yourselves. Pictures and videos can only give it so much justice, personal experience is just so much better.

Is there any better way to get a great weekend started than this view? This is what vacations are made for. Relaxing here is just paradise.

This is a view from the balcony of my hotel room at the Hilton Waikoloa Village – Ocean Tower. One of the best views that I have ever seen in my travels. It is just paradise and I am glad that I am capturing the moments.

Once travel frees up again, this should be a top hotel and location on your travel list!

You can certainly leave the door open for a view like this! Imagine stepping out on your balcony to see a view like this. It is one of the best views that I have seen in my life and for a little while this past spring, I got a chance to thoroughly enjoy it.

You only live one as they say, and supposedly if you do it right, once is enough 😂! Well, this would be a paradise scenario for me. I plan to include various parts of Hawaii in my travel itinerary once it is safe to travel again,

Coming in Hot 🥵- Mount Kilauea Volcano 🌋 Vent

What a sight to see that it was. Just an amazing sight to behold. Before this experience, I had never seen one of these in person but cannot wait to see another one. These vents allow steam and other gases to emit from the base of the volcano. The steam was very hot 🥵 which contrasted nicely with the cold weather that was outside.

If you ever have the opportunity to visit the Volcano State Park in Hawaii, please do so. It is such an incredible place to visit while you are there. You will be so glad that you did!

Vacation Mode on 😎🏝🎉🎊!

Nothing like going on a nice, relaxing vacation. Vacationing is chicken soup for your mind, body and soul 😂! I experienced this form of self love while visiting the Big Island of Hawaii. I love watching the waves gently hitting the shoreline. This provide such a welcome break from the mundane, day to day life that we often experience. Nothing quite like getting away. Travel truly provides mental health therapy that is so needed in the stressful times that we live in.

If you are looking to experience peace and quiet, look no further than downtown Kona. I highly recommend this great scenery along with the wonderful restaurants, novelty shops and of course the beautiful people that make everything else so worthwhile. 😀

My favorite paths in life have always led to the beach. There is nothing on this earth 🌍 like it! The sun above and the sand beneath gives you so much peace within. Being there only increases your desire to return.

That is certainly the case for this beautiful black sand beach located on the Big Island of Hawaii. If you have seen my previous posts on the beautiful Punalu’u Beach 🏖, you know exactly what I am talking about. The view is an awesome mixture of fun and sun that you just cannot afford to miss. I stood amazed at the vivid colors on display. You will perhaps see no other thing like it on God’s green earth.

If you have a chance to visit this summer, you will see that it is indeed beautiful 🤩. Until that travel time, feel free to take a look at the video above and my previous posts.

Such an incredible waterfall- Akaka Falls 😻😎🔥❤️!

This waterfall is located in Hilo, Hawaii and it is so beautiful 😻! Cannot believe that I got to stand that close to the waterfall. It is truly incredible. No other experience could possibly come close to this great feeling. This is one of those memories that is permanently burned into your brain forever 😂! Certainly memories you can share with your grandchildren.

If waterfalls are your thing, consider the Big Island of Hawaii for your next island adventure. You only live once, and if you do it right, once is enough 😂
