Some of my best paths in life have always led to the beach 🏖 😻🏝

There is just something about the beach that provides an automatic relaxation feel.😎 We visit once or many times and cannot wait to visit again. Whether it is the sound of the rushing waves, sand between your toes, or the beautiful sky above, being at the beach gives you the peace within that we desperately long for!

One of the beaches that I visited recently was the Punalu’u Black Sand Beach in Hawaii. First time that I have ever seen black sand on a beach but it was quite cool to the touch on a hot day, like the one captured on the video below. Black sand contains minerals that does not allow if to get hot like white sand. I was able to pick up the sand and look at the beautiful crystals that were on full display.

Another Day in Hawaiian 🌺 Paradise 🌞 🏖 🌴

Just another day in paradise as the old adage says – and truly this was. This was the reason why I got into traveling in the first place – to see this marvelous world that we live in! It doesn’t matter where you go, travel has a way of instantly making you speechless and a storyteller all at the same time 😀!

Such as was the case with beautiful Hawaii – the first trip since the start of the pandemic 😷! This bucket list travel destination clearly stands as number one out of all the various locations that I have visited.

One of the reasons for that is captured in the following video that I have shared below. It was taken at the Hilton Waikoloa Village located on the Big Island 🏝 of Hawaii! I hope that you enjoy 😊!

Chasing waterfalls – so beautiful 😻

So I need to start this post by saying that I have not seen anything in my life as magnificent as seeing a waterfall in person. 😎 Cooler than I ever thought it would be. While vacationing in Hawaii a couple of weeks ago, I traveled to Hilo, Hawaii to behold this wonderful sight.

When arriving at the park, there was a lot of rain 🌧. Unfortunately, there was not a way to drive to the waterfall 😂- I had to hike there. This afforded me the opportunity to observe the gorgeous vegetation enroute to the waterfall.

One of the beautiful waterfalls observed on that day was the Akaka Waterfall. I have included a video of this waterfall below. It was quite a wonder to observe. If you have never seen one in person, please do yourself a favor and visit one on your travels. Since my first experience, I will definitely be on the lookout for waterfall destinations in the future. Definitely will not miss an opportunity to chase waterfalls as I continue to cover the earth 🌍 😃

Difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations 😎 🏖🌴

Since vaccines are being rolled out now to almost everyone, there is a renewed optimism about life getting back to normal very soon. I certainly experienced this optimism while traveling to Hawaii two weeks ago. Planes were packed, airports were packed and I saw a great number of people at the resorts that I visited.

What a true quote! Even during the difficult roads of 2020, we truly never know what destinations are around the corner.😃 Hawaii was my first trip of 2021 and it was such a dream destination. It had been the number one location on my list for many years, but, of course, it costs a small fortune to be able to go. Thankfully, I was able to book this trip at a serious discount on last year – prior to COVID vaccines being rolled out!

One of the resorts was the KingsLand’ – Waikoloa Village Resort in Hawaii. This resort was wonderful- it is now a timeshare community with spacious condominiums. This resort looked packed to capacity and it had some of the most amazing views.

One of these views that I would like to share is attached below. You can quickly get a great idea of the lush accommodations that are there onsite from the video. I was thoroughly impressed and it exceeded my expectations!

Volcanoes🌋 in Hawaii (so amazing 🤩)!

One of the most interesting places that I visited during my time on the Big Island in Hawaii was the Volcano National Park. What a great place to visit while you are in Hawaii! 😊 This was one of the sights that was included in the Deluxe Volcano Experience that Kailani Tours offers in their tour package.

The Volcano Experience offers a comprehensive tour of the island (coffee tour in Kona, Punalu’u Beach Park, etc.) The richness of the experience is seeing a live, active volcano 🌋 before your very eyes – which is a phenomenal experience. The tour takes you to Mount Kilauea where you can take pictures of the volcano both in the day and at night after you have finished the tour provided dinner.

Mount Kilauea – live and active volcano in Hawaii

A week in Paradise 🏖 🌴 ☀️

It was a very long time coming but I finally took my first trip since the pandemic on last week. It was a trip to a location that for years, had been on the bucket list. That location was Hawaii! 🙌😃

Visiting the Big Island of Hawaii (via Kona) was a complete dream come true! I could not believe my eyes seeing the picturesque landscape of mountains, beaches, waterfalls (oh my 😃). One more thing, Hawaii has volcanoes 🌋. Truly unbelievable having all of the above in one location literally miles away from one another. The climate and elevation changed as you drove through the mountains and adventured to the Volcano State Park. You went from 85 degrees Fahrenheit on the beach to between 30 and 40 degrees at the volcano and in the mountains.

The people were so very friendly and so accommodating! Some of the best folks that I have ever met. I can truly say that out of all the various places that I have visited, this is truly the best. Here is a video of the sights and sounds of this beautiful paradise. More to come..
