A week in Paradise πŸ– 🌴 β˜€οΈ

It was a very long time coming but I finally took my first trip since the pandemic on last week. It was a trip to a location that for years, had been on the bucket list. That location was Hawaii! πŸ™ŒπŸ˜ƒ

Visiting the Big Island of Hawaii (via Kona) was a complete dream come true! I could not believe my eyes seeing the picturesque landscape of mountains, beaches, waterfalls (oh my πŸ˜ƒ). One more thing, Hawaii has volcanoes πŸŒ‹. Truly unbelievable having all of the above in one location literally miles away from one another. The climate and elevation changed as you drove through the mountains and adventured to the Volcano State Park. You went from 85 degrees Fahrenheit on the beach to between 30 and 40 degrees at the volcano and in the mountains.

The people were so very friendly and so accommodating! Some of the best folks that I have ever met. I can truly say that out of all the various places that I have visited, this is truly the best. Here is a video of the sights and sounds of this beautiful paradise. More to come..

Last Day of 2020 πŸ˜€πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ™Œ – thought we would never get here!

What a year 2020 has been! Hard to believe this is the last day of a year that will forever be remembered for the pandemic, social injustice marches, masks, loved ones that were lost etc. This year has had its share of ups and many more downs. Through it all and in it all, we have made it to the final day. 😊

I am very hopeful for a wonderful and prosperous New Year for myself and for us all. πŸ™Œ Hoping that we return to some since of normalcy within 2021. I believe that things can and will get better. We must keep the faith that better days are coming.

Thankfully I was able to do some traveling prior to the lockdown and quarantine period in March of this year. I was able to take a cruise to the Western Caribbean (Costa Maya, Cozumel and Belize). Also once the lockdown was lifted, I was able to take a staycation and visit a few places.

Attached below are some highlights from my 2020 posts from Instagram (travelfitguru). Feel free to connect on that platform and on Twitter and TikTok. Hope that you enjoy and that you have a wonderful and prosperous New Year! 😊

Dinner Cruise 🚒 Vibes

Reminiscing on very good times earlier this year onboard a Carnival Cruise to the Western CaribbeanπŸ˜ƒπŸ™Œ. The ship was at reduced capacity but everyone on board enjoyed the wonderful vibes.

It seems by looking at the video attached below that this is not an event that happened in 2020 but really of a long, forgotten time that was mask 😷 free. This was in fact, back in March 2020. That time was the calm before the proverbial storm!

I hope that you enjoy this video and I definitely hope to return to these times again. Until that time, stay safe and healthyπŸ˜ƒ!

Dinner Cruise 🚒 Vibes on the High Seas

Once upon a time in Montego BayπŸ–πŸ– 🌊 🏝

Once upon a time in Montego Bay, I had one of the best travel adventures of my life! 😊 This was my first and only time visiting this beautiful place but it will not be the last. So much fun in the sun β˜€οΈ, it was try hard to leave.

My stay started at the Rose Hall Hilton which is a superb all-inclusive hotel 🏨. Shots in the video were taken on the grounds of this gorgeous hotel. Truly one of the best places that I have stayed. This hotel had it all, great food, awesome shows and beautiful amenities.

It was wonderfully located on a beach and it included a water park for the kids. The pools were magnificent and very large. I would definitely recommend this hotel with its rather spacious rooms!

Also included in the video are shots from Dunn’s River Fall, Saint Ann’s River Rafting and other sights!

Ocean Eyes Vibes πŸ–β›΅οΈ

San Jose Del Cabo is a place that I would definitely visit again. The seaside vibes are superb and the white sand beaches are so spectacular! The video below was part of a tour that I booked through Trip Advisor. The tour also included a trip to the world famous Cabo San Lucas Arch which I will post later.

This particular area was overlooking the beach and also was located in an area of San Jose Del Cabo that lot of celebrities from the US have vacation houses. I hope that you enjoy the video below. I look forward to visiting this location again during my travels.

Hilton Los Cabos – what a stay πŸ€©πŸ™Œ!

Staying at the Hilton Los Cabos was a dream come true. The excellent views were just like paradise. Could not believe how absolutely perfect this hotel was. One of the very best hotels that I have ever stayed in. The rooms were spacious and the ocean views were second to none that I have ever seen.

The grounds were definitely immaculate. There were a number of pools onsite, even more than one swim πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ up bar! A number of cabanas were available around the beach area and the food was absolutely delicious.

Truly felt as if I had died and gone to heaven. I definitely look forward to visiting this wonderful place again after Covid. I am sure that it will need to be booked so far in advance πŸ˜‚! The secret is sure to get out. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its great views, excellent customer service, beach view and the wonderful amenities. Truly on of the top 3 hotels that I have visited in my travels abroad πŸ˜€πŸ™Œ!

Summer Escape πŸ–πŸ˜Ž in the Fall

As fall begins, I am mindful of the great plans that I, like so many others had for Summer 2020. Although these plans did not materialize due to COVID, I am extremely thankful for memories that I have made down through the years. I don’t think that anyone will look at travel the same way again. Almost as if we took the ability to travel for granted. I dare say, that I will not do this from now on.

As I reflect on the travel memories that I have, a beautiful beach πŸ– comes to my mind. I had such an awesome time looking at the waves and admiring so many beautiful people that were on the beach on that day. Wish I could physically be there but I will at least enjoy me mentally being there through this beautiful video – that I am thankful that I captured.

Cozumel Vibes πŸ–πŸ˜Ž πŸŠπŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

Flashback to sea vibes and high tides in Cozumel.πŸ˜ƒ These are views of the Chankanaab Beach Adventure Park in Cozumel, Mexico. This particular video was shot at the Dolphin 🐬 Discovery area of the park. The sea vibes are absolutely incredible and swimming with the dolphins was a fantastic experience.

This park is a must see when visiting Cozumel. I highly recommend spending a day here, there is a great deal of activities to experience!

Reminiscing today a little more on the Glass Bottom Boat ⛡️ Tour that I booked through Trip Advisor before embarking on my trip to Cabo. The tour guide was absolutely awesome and we sailed to several different locations. List of locations that we sailed to were: Lovers Beach, Cabo Arch, Gateway to the Pacific and Neptune’s Finger.

Below is a short video of my voyage on the Sea of Cortez πŸ–! Enjoy 😊

Fun on the High Seas 🌊😎

Thinking back to the cruise that I took earlier this year to Mexico before the shutdown here in the USA. What an absolutely fun time that I had. Especially sailing to the first port of call in Costa Maya. The views were incredible and I thought that I was in paradise. Never seen so much deep blue water on a perfect Spring Day! πŸ˜ƒ Almost like paradise for sure and to make it even better, it was in the morning with the sun shining and with a nice cool breeze.

Sometimes travel leaves you just speechless, this was one of those timesπŸš’πŸ™ŒπŸ’―
