Fun at Laguna Cozumel 😎☀️

Happy New Week to you😎. The weekend never seems to be long enough 😂 Travel always take you away from the regular, ordinary and the mundane 👍. Should your travel plans take you to Cozumel, I highly suggest visiting the Chankanaab Beach 🏖 Park. One of the beauties that this park has to offer is the Laguna Cozumel, which as you can see from the video, is just amazing : youtube.com/shorts/bnKHeJafaik

You can take a wonderful walk around this Laguna and feel as as if you have discovered paradise. Cannot beat the beautiful views that this Laguna contains. You may ask the question, “is swimming allowed?”. Well, it is not allowed, there are a number of beaches that are located in Chankanaab where you could swim, snorkel etc.

In order to do all of the activities included at this park, you really need about 2 days. There is so much to do and so little time to do it. Once you are there, time does not seem to stand still. On the contrary, it goes by so fast. There is a Dolphin Discovery, sea lion show. several beaches, tequila tasting, great restaurants, shopping etc. Almost too good to be true.

As you can see from the video above, it is just phenomenal. This was an excursion that I booked on my Carnival Cruise voyage to the Western Caribbean. With cruises, you only have a few hours on land before it is time to resume the sea voyage. I am glad that I was able to make this time count!

I wish, as I am typing this, that I could teleport back to this location. 😂 I remember touring the beautiful grounds of the Hilton Los Cabos. As you can tell from the video above, it is just both breathtaking and jaw dropping.

There was so much to do there at the hotel and there are quite a bit of restaurants as well. You literally could stay at the hotel for your entire stay without going on any excursions. I don’t know whether I have stayed at a more beautiful hotel than the Hilton Los Cabos.

There are many pools located onsite and the hotel is located on a beach. What more could you ask for? 😂 You could even opt for an ocean view room, which I did, and you will not be disappointed.

Should your travel plans take you to Los Cabos, by all means, stay at this magnificent hotel!

You may ask the question, what is the Window to the Pacific? Well, as the name implies, it is in fact an archway from the Sea of Cortez to the Pacific Ocean. Pretty cool, huh 🤔?

All Aboard 🚢 – Fun Awaits!

Getting outdoors clears the heart and the mind. Nothing like the wonderful fresh air that is felt when you leave even the comforts of your home and venture out . If you have followed my blog, you realize that any day at sea, is happiness to me 😃. The ocean was just a perfect shade of blue on that day😎. I still look back in awe when I see this video. It is not only very beautiful but you also see just how massive cruise ships are 😂. It is a wonder how they are able to stay on top of the water. From the sheer weight, they should sink but of course they design the ships a certain way to ensure that they stay above the water.

My fear of sailing on all of this massive water, kept me from wanting to cruise at all for so many years. I look back in regret now because I could have been to so many more places 😂 had I not been afraid to take a cruise. You cannot get these type of views staying on land, you have to be willing to venture out from the land.

If fear is holding you back, you are in good company- others, including myself, have been there. When it is safe and you are comfortable, try it out for the first time and see if you like it. Who knows, you could be hooked like I am and start seeing the world differently- from aboard a cruise ship😃 🚢!

Once Upon a Cruise 🚢

Doesn’t this look like fun? 😜 The video gives you some idea of the overall atmosphere on this Carnival – Western Caribbean cruise. The place where all of this fun takes place is called the Lido Deck. That is where dance parties, exercising and other entertaining group activities take place. This place can accommodate the largest number of guests at the same time.

If you have seen other blog posts of mine, you have undoubtedly seen a few concerts from the cruise ships. The concerts happen on the Lido Deck. As you might imagine, there are extra protocols being followed in the pandemic world that we live in now, but rest assured, this type of entertainment continues on, albeit in a limited capacity.

Once you are comfortable with taking a cruise, I encourage you to do so. I am sure that the industry would love to have new and experienced cruisers, as their industry has lost billions of dollars as a result of the pandemic.

Beautiful Day – Beautiful People 😎🌴☀️

The Chankanaab Beach Park on the island of Cozumel, Mexico is an absolute must see. This Beach Park combines the beach (of course), swimming with the dolphins 🐬, entertainment, shopping, tequila tasting etc. It has so many activities that it is almost impossible to do everything in one day! You have to come back the next day in order to take in the whole experience.

An amazing cruise across the Western Caribbean, took me to Cozumel and I booked the Chankanaab experience which was worth every bit of the price. I would most certainly visit this place again but likely would take a stand-alone trip in order to get the full experience.

This is a place designed for everyone 😊! There a something to do whatever your age. I have found that I enjoy places like these now more than ever. Should your travel plans take you to Cozumel, feel free to take in this experience. You will be so glad that you did!

Hard to believe that there were times like these, but these times actually existed😃. My sincere hope is that these times return soon. It is always good to reflect on good times especially during not so good times.

This video is just plain fun 🤩! This was part of the sail away celebration that Carnival was having, as we prepared to set sail to the Western Caribbean. Little did we know at the time, how much fun we would have visiting Costa Maya, Belize and Cozumel.

I encourage you, if you have not experienced a cruise or even if you have, to enjoy this type of experience once or again. Looking at this video, puts me mentally back on that ship, enjoying all of the sights and sounds😃

Cruises are just so much fun😎 If you have never cruised before, do yourself a favor and do so, if only once! If you have cruised before, you know the feeling of relaxation that you get from being on a cruise. Unlike anything that I have personally experienced before.

On this particular cruise, we were our way to the Western Caribbean where we spent time in Costa Maya, Belize and Cozumel. As you can see from the locations listed, a cruise enables you to see these beautiful locations all in one trip. Otherwise, you would have to book separate trips to each one.

Of course this was pre- pandemic 😷 so things would likely have changed since this time. I plan to cruise again next year and I am definitely looking forward to it. Hope to see you on a future trip!

Sailing to the Cabo Arch😃⛵️❤️!

As you can tell from the video, we navigated some very tough water in order to arrive at our destination. This Glass Bottom boat tour was booked on Trip Advisor and it was excellent! This tour not only takes you to the Cabo Arch but allows you to see other sights along the way: Neptune’s Finger, Lovers Beach etc. I highly recommend choosing this tour should your travel plans take you to Cabo San Lucas😃.

The Arch itself is an awesome wonder. It was well worth the rocky, choppy seas to arrive at this beautiful location. The video provides but a glimpse of this magnificent wonder but the in person view will leave quite an impression! You will definitely want to come back for sure.

Carnival Cruise into a new week😎🏖🕺🏾

As you can see, they are massive 😂! It makes you seriously wonder, how are they able to float on the water? It is an amazing phenomenon. Especially when you take into account the weight of the ship and the weight of hundreds of people that are on the ship.

Carnival Cruises does a phenomenal of making the cruise experience so enjoyable. I was, for along time, a person that did not want to take a cruise. I seriously could not fathom why anyone would want to do it. I could not see how it could be fun in any way.

Boy was I wrong..it was an experience like none other. After the first cruise, I was hooked and I have been cruising ever since🤩! Truly the most fun that you can have on a vacation is taking a cruise. There is something for everyone and you are left with a lifetime of memories.
