Sailing on the Na Pali Coast😎⛵️🏝☀️!

Until visiting Kauai this month, I had never been on a subset catamaran tour. Full disclosure, I had never been on a catamaran ever 😂! I have seen rich celebrities, on tv, aboard these but have never had the experience. If you ever sail on one of these boats, the best views are in the front. Spectacular views indeed and I am thankful for the experience! Part of traveling for me, is trying something new. That being said, I am not afraid to open myself up to brand new experiences. I was greatly rewarded for my courage because the Na Pali Sunset Cruise in Kauai was just what the doctor ordered.😃

It was by far the best cruise that I have taken to date. If you have followed this blog, you know how much of a cruiser I am. I could possibly work for the cruise industry at this point in time 😂. I truly love being on the water 💦 as often as possible. In fact, most of the excursions, on trips that I have taken, involved water in some way, shape or form.

This particular excursion, as the name implies, is 6 hour in duration and one of the only ways to view the Na Pali Coast. On land, it would take forever, by air, it would be expensive etc. Seeing the dolphins and whales are worth the price of the tour alone! The bonus views are the mountains that looks like you’re in Jurassic Park and the beautiful water 💦.

Perfect Views from Paradise 🌺🌴🌴!

Paradise was found on earth while visiting the beautiful island of Kauai 😃! I had a great opportunity to experience a luau for the first time in my life. What an experience it was! Out of all of the times that I envisioned what Kauai would be like, views like these, blew my perceptions out the window. As you can see from the video, it almost looks like a vivid, vibrant dream 😴. The colors are absolutely perfect especially with the backdrop of the mountains right behind it. So very impressive 😃.

This video was captured right before the luau festivities began. So we are all in eager anticipation of attending the luau while taking in the beauty that was all around us. I almost wished at that time that I could stay right there for the rest of my life 😂. Of course, reality kicked in and that thought went away from my mind.

That really is the appeal, in and of itself, of vacation. A place that blocks out our ordinary life and provides a temporary break from that life to fantasize about a new life that you could enjoy. I firmly believe that vacation time should be interwoven in our health insurance 😂. The relief that it provides contributes to our overall well being!

Waimea Canyon Views-OMG🤩!

I have never been to the Grand Canyon but I have heard that it is a lot like this view but less colorful 😃. This beautiful canyon is located on the beautiful island 🏝 of Kauai, Hawaii in the city of Waimea. The Waimea Canyon State Park has a lookout point and trails for hiking 🥾.

I don’t mind telling you that I have never seen views such as these in any of my previous travels before. I was completely blown away by the spectacular colors and the vastness of the canyon. Visiting Kauai, as I mentioned before in a previous post, was otherworldly, almost as if you were on a different planet altogether.

In order to get to the lookout point on the top of Waimea Canyon, you have to drive about an hour from the base of the canyon to reach the top. The elevation of the canyon is 3,400 feet and you totally feel it as you are going up the canyon and hiking on the trails.

Volcanic Views from Hawaii😎🏖🏖

I cannot describe how otherworldly the views are near the Volcano State Park on the Big Island of Hawaii😊! At this location, you can observe the Chains of Crater Road, which essentially is tons of lava flows that have dried up down through the years and have created this beautiful view: youtube.com/shorts/3i-9ESm9loU

It really looks as if you are on a different planet 🌎 altogether! Other than seeing Mount Kilauea, and chasing the beautiful waterfalls there, this is one of the coolest views that I observed during my time on the island 🏝. As you can tell from the video, it is absolutely a lot to behold 🤩.

Just imagine standing there seeing, as far as the eye can see, these magnificent views. You can also hike around various trails when you are there. The beautiful views cannot be matched from any previous experience that I have had.

Hope that you enjoyed the video. This is Punalu’u Beach which is located in Kona, Hawaii. What instantly stands out is the black sand which is just magnificent! Very cool to the touch and so beautiful 🤩. On this particular day, these views were the calm before a big storm which would happen about 10 minutes later.

Matter of fact, the storm ⛈ got so severe that I ended my trip there and headed back to the hotel 🏨. I had planned to visit the Kilauea Volcano which was about 30 minutes away. It was so disappointing at the time but thankfully I got a chance to visit this beach 🏖, and the volcano, in sunnier weather later in the week.

With Spring Break right around the corner, I encourage everyone to book some time to get away from it all, whether in Hawaii or someplace close to home 🏡😃!

Live Your Life😊❤️🙌!

“Live Your Life” is a great motto for today😃! We all want to make the most out of life because life is certainly so fleeting. We have become so much more aware of this fact, living in a pandemic world 🌎. The dilemma is determining what is most valuable in life: experiences or possessions or maybe both? That was the view that I saw from my window, every morning that I walked out on the balcony. Absolutely perfect views for a wonderful hotel 🏨. This is the Ocean Tower located on the grounds of the Hilton Waikoloa Village. If you have followed this blog for some time, you would have noticed various videos from this balcony on previous posts.

I really appreciate beautiful experiences such as these. These experiences makes me want to have more experiences like these in the future. Alas, there is so many places and so little time 😊. Which means that prioritization is absolutely the key 🔑.

There were years in which I did not travel because, unfortunately, I did not realize the importance of forward planning for the vacation. My planning would consist of waiting until close to the week that I wanted to go on vacation and then attempt to book travel. Of course, at that time, everything is very expensive and out of my price range. Only when I started to plan for vacation and booked travel arrangements months before, did I start going on vacation.

Kauai-My Oh My😎🏖🏖

Kauai is truly heaven on earth 🌍! If you have never been, please consider traveling there in the future. It is one of the best Hawaiian Islands to visit. The waterfalls are truly superb😃! If you have followed this blog, you know that I am indeed a waterfall chaser. I am Water Fall Chaser ESQ😂! After seeing these natural wonders for the first time on last year (up close and personal) I am indeed hooked now 😃. The experience is totally jaw dropping and you must see one to believe how majestic they truly are.

The canyons are such an amazing sight also. You will be totally blown away by the beautiful nature that is relatively untouched on this island and others. The Hawaiian Government does a great job of preserving the nature of Hawaii which makes it more and more beautiful. If you are looking to take a break from the concrete jungle of the USA mainland, look no further than Kauai – which is truly heaven on earth😃🌍!

Volcanic views for days – OMG😆

If you are ever visiting Kona, Hawaii, you have to visit the Volcano State Park to visit the only active volcano on the Hawaiian Islands, Kilauea. Located near The Volcano State Park, you will see outstanding views like these: youtube.com/shorts/cd2F9NFiLao

It is almost other worldly, seeing views like this. Most would probably think that this view would have been captured on another planet. Nope, captured exclusively on the island of Kona. It was an absolute awesome 😎 wonder to be standing there, seeing these type of views.

If you are interested in seeing what Kilauea looks like, I have captured this video in a previous blog post 😃. In order to get an up close and personal view of Kilauea, you have to fly in a helicopter 🚁 above it. On my trip, I stayed on land and captured what I could 😂. It is a small fortune to go on a helicopter excursion of Kilauea. Would be great to do this one day!

Hawaii Kind of Feeling😎 ☀️ 🏝

Number 1 destination on my bucket list since I was a kid was Hawaii. It did not matter which island it was, although I had heard so much about Maui, I just wanted to go. I was hopeful to someday have the opportunity to finally get there. Here is a short video of a few of the experiences that I had: youtube.com/shorts/eudThW6iJqY

This particular island is Kona aka “The Big Island”. I am hear to tell you, it is aptly named 😂. It is totally ginormous with everything that you wanted to see and more. This island, has the only active volcano 🌋 (Kilauea), in addition to beaches, mountains and waterfalls (oh my).

I know what you are thinking 🤔, all in one place? Yes indeed – and if I had not visited there for myself and saw all of these absolute wonders, I would not have believed it either. It is a place that would be in a dream, but in fact, it is very real and available to visit in reality for vacation.

Prior to vacationing in Hawaii, I was told by another traveler that there was no place quite like Hawaii, in the USA and perhaps, the world 🌎. I was so skeptical 🤨 and figured that I would reserve judgment until I visited. The Big Island 🏝 took my breath away, and you will enjoy all of the beauty and experiences also!

Waterfall Magic from Hawaii 💦 😎

Akaka Falls State Park is as an absolute dream 😴. After seeing so many posts down through the years about waterfalls, this park provided me the perfect opportunity to see waterfalls up close and personal. It is just a magnificent waterfall for sure. The name of this one is Kahuna Falls, and it is a big kahuna 😂! This particular day, I braved the very heavy rain 🌧 in order to see this beautiful sight. Once you park on-site, you have to hike the rest of the way to see the waterfalls.

As I have mentioned before in a previous post, the waterfalls are at higher elevations so it will certainly test your conditioning. I remember huffing and puffing 😮‍💨 as I went from one waterfall to the other. I made it safely to both and was able to capture beautiful videos as a result.

The “Big Kahuna” was so beautiful and it is the smaller of the waterfalls that are located there. Feel free to check my previous posts for a look at the even bigger Kahuna – Akaka Falls. It is truly ginormous! 😃🙌
