Shivers from 30,000 feetπŸ˜€!

Being 30,000 feet in the air, still somehow, gives me the shivers πŸ˜‚! I have been traveling by plane for 23+ years but it still has that affect on me. Here is a beautiful sky view from that elevation : https://youtube.com/shorts/WcN2quP35vc?feature=share

Nothing like the beauty of the sky that provides such a sense of awe. Flying has become my second best mode of transportation. I love it and I love having the window seat to observe these type of views. As I mentioned in a previous post, due to the pandemic, I no longer take these views for granted. When the world came to a screeching halt on last year, I miss seeing these type of views.

I have made a personal vow to myself that I will see more of the world. No matter how much you have seen of it, you want to see even more. I long to cover the earth before it covers me πŸ˜‚. A lot of cool places still to explore and I plan on doing it.

If you were wondering where in the world this video was captured, it was captured above the great state of Texas. Texas is located below those clouds ☁️. Hope that you enjoy these sky vibes and that you have a great day!

Can’t Stop This Feeling😊

Had to share this awesome video that I came across while I was looking through my archives. Certainly a great one to get you going to start the week: youtube.com/shorts/gaFUHo5E3XI

Dinner cruises are just next level on Carnival! πŸ˜ƒπŸ™ŒI could not believe the awesome choreography lessons that has to take place just to be able to perform in this manner. The first time that I experienced it, I was just blown away. I was determined to capture it on the next cruise that I took, which is this one.

Even though this particular video was taken during Pre-Covid times, it is a great pick me up for the day and an awesome memory of life as it was before the pandemic.

I look forward to this great feeling retuning again, hopefully very soon πŸ˜€! In the meantime, enjoy the vibes that are captured in the video above.

Cover me in Sunshine🌞

Happy New Week to all 😊! Hope that you had a wonderful October and that your November will be equally enjoyable. One thing about tropical locations, they are rarely affected by the seasons. They are covered in sunshine, year round. If you are a lover of sunshine and tropical πŸ–locations, you will definitely appreciate this beautiful video: youtube.com/shorts/oCyqKR6w6Lk

Wonderful beach vibes for sure. I have always envisioned retirement from a coastline like this. Being covered in sunshine in a tropical location such as Cozumel, would certainly make life so enjoyable πŸ˜€.

In the above video, you are seeing the view from my beach chair. I remember the feeling of the wind blowing and the sounds of children and adults enjoying this beautiful day. Nothing else like getting sun and having fun at the beach πŸ–.

In all of my travels, I have never come across a beach that I did not like. They are always beautiful and always provide much needed calm and relaxation. Something about the sky above and the sand beneath that gives you peace within πŸ˜€πŸ™Œ!

Best View – Hardest Climb πŸ§—β€β™€οΈπŸ˜€

As the old adage goes: “The best view comes after the hardest climb” – it is most certainly the case for today’s video, which I have posted here: youtube.com/shorts/uH4yARD52-0

It is a short, beautiful capture of the courtyard of the Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort. Lovely manicured landscape and beautiful flowers πŸ’ in addition to lush vegetation. Looks like paradise to me!πŸ˜ƒ Never in my wildest dreams, could I have envisioned such a place.

You may ask the question, “Did you have to climb anything to see this view?”. There was not a physical structure that needed to be climbed to see this. The mountains that had to be climbed were fear, doubt and despair brought about by the pandemic of 2020.

This particular Hawaii trip had to be postponed a number of times in 2020 before it was actually taken in 2021. I was very anxious over this trip because it represented the first one that I would take after lockdown and quarantine. I am so glad to report that it was one of the best trips that I have ever taken and it was one of the safest ones also.πŸ˜€πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

So yes, sometimes the best views do come after the hardest climb. Certainly the hardest climb that I have ever endured!

Sky Above, Earth 🌍 Beneath!😁

Sky views are the absolute best viewsπŸ˜„! Here is one of those spectacular views that I captured from 30,000 feet on a recent trip: youtube.com/shorts/tJbGiDpVLlo

I happened to look out the window, as I was preparing to land, and saw this excellent view. Could not help but capture it. My only regret is that I did not capture more of it πŸ˜‚. It is one of the best sky views that I have ever captured.

My love of the window seat on a plane, centers around looking at all of the beauty that you only see when you are flying✈️. No other way to observe the beauty of the earth from such a high altitude 🌍 except by flying the friendly skies!

Down through the years, I have observed snow capped mountains, bodies of water, hills and valleys etc. all from the window seat of the plane. I have learned, after not traveling much last year, that I should not take these views for granted.

Hopefully as you travel, you will observe the beauty of the earth a little bit more as you fly the friendly skies πŸ˜„πŸ™Œ

Incredible Kalahari ViewsπŸ˜ƒ!

The view from here is just incredible: youtube.com/shorts/9haZjgfDI_Y

Looking out from my balcony window provided some much needed relaxation to my otherwise stressful week. We get away to relax and cast off the cares of the world. Kalahari, from this balcony view, and from all of the indoor water park rides, provided a welcomed respite.πŸ˜†

If you have followed this blog, you have seen a myriad of various places that I have discovered from my travels across the world. This particular place is found right here in the USA πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ, in small town Texas, by the name of Round Rock. I think that the only reason that I have heard of it, is that I live here in the state. πŸ˜‚ Otherwise, I might not have visited the city at all.

There are Kalahari Resorts in other states. so I encourage you to visit should your travel plans allow it. This was my first time visiting the resort but certainly won’t be my last. I enjoyed every last bit of the time that I had there. It is a fairly new resort, having opened in November 2020, but by the looks of the crowd when I visited, the secret was out. It was packed – to my surprise!

Hope that you enjoy the video above. If you like the content, I encourage you to follow my blog to see more of the same!

Sky Views from Above ✈️

I love sky views from airplanes😻 ❀️! No matter what airline I fly, I always have a window seat preference designated on my profile πŸ˜‚. It is an absolute must for me. Viewing the beautiful sky and the magnificent earth views below, just brings a wonderful peace within for me. I recently took a flight and captured this remarkable video: youtube.com/shorts/euA40CbFGzE

Lovely views indeed πŸ˜ƒ. It doesn’t matter how many times you fly, there is always something new to see. I have become more grateful for these views since the pandemic 😷. We all might be guilty of taking these views and trips in general for granted, until we could not take trips anymore.

This particular video was captured during a recent trip to Dallas where I was connecting to another flight ✈️. Did not expect to see these views but I greatly appreciate beauty in all of its forms πŸ˜‚. Could not help but capture it when I see it.

If you are not a fan of the window seat on a plane, I encourage you to try it again for the first time. Who knows what type of views you will see.

Waterfall Chaser 🀩!

I love chasing waterfalls! Anywhere a waterfall is located, I want to go see it. It is so nice and so peaceful looking at the beautiful water πŸ’¦. Perhaps not a more peaceful, serene scene than watching and hearing the sound of waterfalls. Here is one of those majestic beauties, on full display: youtube.com/shorts/ySAnpt75Vf4

Doesn’t it look heavenly? πŸ˜ƒ I could go see this waterfall again. This is Kahuna Falls which is located in the Akaka Falls State Park in Hilo, Hawaii. It was so exciting hiking πŸ₯Ύ to this beautiful location. Rules of the park do not allow you to hike down to the waterfall but to observe it from a lookout point which is where I am standing while looking at this beautiful wonder of nature!

One thing to consider when visiting this park is that it is definitely at a higher mountain elevation. If you have not visited the mountains before, it takes a different type of conditioning – which you will notice as you hike there. I found myself huffing and puffing after hiking a short while.

I hope that you enjoy the above video. It gives you a glimpse of the beauty that is found there at the Akaka Falls State Park.

Caption This Beauty 🀩

Vitamin Sea helps me be meπŸ˜ƒ! There is truly nothing better than being out on the water, sailing to various destinations. Oh the places that you will go, if you venture out on a voyage. One of those voyages took place out on the Sea of Cortez sailing to the Window to the Pacific. I have captured part of that magnificent voyage here: youtube.com/shorts/1EwxDd_2n5c

You may ask the question, what is the Window to the Pacific? Well, as the name implies, it is in fact an archway from the Sea of Cortez to the Pacific Ocean. Pretty cool, huh πŸ€”?

I hope that you enjoy this video. It was such a cool experience – I would love to do it again. πŸ˜ŠπŸ™ŒπŸ˜ƒ

Space Week Vibes 🌝 πŸ‘©β€πŸš€!

What a wonderful week for space exploration. Blue Origin made history this past week, taking the oldest astronaut (William Shatner [aka Captain Kirk] to space. Space has always been so fascinating to so many people. With the space race heating up between Blue Origin and Space X. They both are on a journey to take civilians to space.

As these companies get more mature, there will be opportunities for us all to take a voyage to outer space. In the meantime, NASA Space Centers are available here in the USA to satisfy our hunger for space. One such visit to one of those centers (particularly the moon section of the Johnson Space Center) is captured here:youtube.com/shorts/X5fd5weUA9s

As you can see, the moon ambiance was in full effectπŸ˜ƒ. It contained astronauts, moon craters, Lunar Rover Vehicles etc. You had the feeling that you were in space as you walked around the exhibit. As you can see from the video, there were quite a few people visiting the moon exhibit that day.

Hopefully you will take the opportunity to visit one of the NASA Space Centers. It is very family friendly and the kids will definitely enjoy the experience. I was hoping to experience a zero gravity room but alas we have not quite gotten to that point as of yet. πŸ˜‚
