Incredible Kalahari ViewsπŸ˜ƒ!

The view from here is just incredible: youtube.com/shorts/9haZjgfDI_Y

Looking out from my balcony window provided some much needed relaxation to my otherwise stressful week. We get away to relax and cast off the cares of the world. Kalahari, from this balcony view, and from all of the indoor water park rides, provided a welcomed respite.πŸ˜†

If you have followed this blog, you have seen a myriad of various places that I have discovered from my travels across the world. This particular place is found right here in the USA πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ, in small town Texas, by the name of Round Rock. I think that the only reason that I have heard of it, is that I live here in the state. πŸ˜‚ Otherwise, I might not have visited the city at all.

There are Kalahari Resorts in other states. so I encourage you to visit should your travel plans allow it. This was my first time visiting the resort but certainly won’t be my last. I enjoyed every last bit of the time that I had there. It is a fairly new resort, having opened in November 2020, but by the looks of the crowd when I visited, the secret was out. It was packed – to my surprise!

Hope that you enjoy the video above. If you like the content, I encourage you to follow my blog to see more of the same!

Sky Views from Above ✈️

I love sky views from airplanes😻 ❀️! No matter what airline I fly, I always have a window seat preference designated on my profile πŸ˜‚. It is an absolute must for me. Viewing the beautiful sky and the magnificent earth views below, just brings a wonderful peace within for me. I recently took a flight and captured this remarkable video: youtube.com/shorts/euA40CbFGzE

Lovely views indeed πŸ˜ƒ. It doesn’t matter how many times you fly, there is always something new to see. I have become more grateful for these views since the pandemic 😷. We all might be guilty of taking these views and trips in general for granted, until we could not take trips anymore.

This particular video was captured during a recent trip to Dallas where I was connecting to another flight ✈️. Did not expect to see these views but I greatly appreciate beauty in all of its forms πŸ˜‚. Could not help but capture it when I see it.

If you are not a fan of the window seat on a plane, I encourage you to try it again for the first time. Who knows what type of views you will see.

Waterfall Chaser 🀩!

I love chasing waterfalls! Anywhere a waterfall is located, I want to go see it. It is so nice and so peaceful looking at the beautiful water πŸ’¦. Perhaps not a more peaceful, serene scene than watching and hearing the sound of waterfalls. Here is one of those majestic beauties, on full display: youtube.com/shorts/ySAnpt75Vf4

Doesn’t it look heavenly? πŸ˜ƒ I could go see this waterfall again. This is Kahuna Falls which is located in the Akaka Falls State Park in Hilo, Hawaii. It was so exciting hiking πŸ₯Ύ to this beautiful location. Rules of the park do not allow you to hike down to the waterfall but to observe it from a lookout point which is where I am standing while looking at this beautiful wonder of nature!

One thing to consider when visiting this park is that it is definitely at a higher mountain elevation. If you have not visited the mountains before, it takes a different type of conditioning – which you will notice as you hike there. I found myself huffing and puffing after hiking a short while.

I hope that you enjoy the above video. It gives you a glimpse of the beauty that is found there at the Akaka Falls State Park.

Caption This Beauty 🀩

Vitamin Sea helps me be meπŸ˜ƒ! There is truly nothing better than being out on the water, sailing to various destinations. Oh the places that you will go, if you venture out on a voyage. One of those voyages took place out on the Sea of Cortez sailing to the Window to the Pacific. I have captured part of that magnificent voyage here: youtube.com/shorts/1EwxDd_2n5c

You may ask the question, what is the Window to the Pacific? Well, as the name implies, it is in fact an archway from the Sea of Cortez to the Pacific Ocean. Pretty cool, huh πŸ€”?

I hope that you enjoy this video. It was such a cool experience – I would love to do it again. πŸ˜ŠπŸ™ŒπŸ˜ƒ

Space Week Vibes 🌝 πŸ‘©β€πŸš€!

What a wonderful week for space exploration. Blue Origin made history this past week, taking the oldest astronaut (William Shatner [aka Captain Kirk] to space. Space has always been so fascinating to so many people. With the space race heating up between Blue Origin and Space X. They both are on a journey to take civilians to space.

As these companies get more mature, there will be opportunities for us all to take a voyage to outer space. In the meantime, NASA Space Centers are available here in the USA to satisfy our hunger for space. One such visit to one of those centers (particularly the moon section of the Johnson Space Center) is captured here:youtube.com/shorts/X5fd5weUA9s

As you can see, the moon ambiance was in full effectπŸ˜ƒ. It contained astronauts, moon craters, Lunar Rover Vehicles etc. You had the feeling that you were in space as you walked around the exhibit. As you can see from the video, there were quite a few people visiting the moon exhibit that day.

Hopefully you will take the opportunity to visit one of the NASA Space Centers. It is very family friendly and the kids will definitely enjoy the experience. I was hoping to experience a zero gravity room but alas we have not quite gotten to that point as of yet. πŸ˜‚

Views for Days and Nights β˜€οΈ 🌝

Sometimes when you are feeling just a little creative, you start editing pictures and video to more accurately capture the beautiful moment that is appearing before your eyes. I felt that way when I captured the following video: youtube.com/shorts/PwwbjIln_eQ

When you are not accustomed to views like these on a daily or nightly basis, creativity takes over πŸ˜‚. It is for that reason that I never take for granted the opportunity to travel because it is definitely a luxury. Nothing makes me feel more closer to myself and to the world.

This particular beauty was captured from the balcony of the Hilton Waikoloa Village- Ocean Tower. What a wonderful stay this was. I will always remember it because I was awaken by the birds πŸ¦… chirping every morning πŸ˜ƒ which was pretty cool. No matter where I have traveled before in the world 🌎, that has never been my experience.

I hope that you enjoy the above video and that you have a great day! πŸ˜ƒ

Ticket 🎟 to ParadiseπŸŒ΄πŸ˜Žβ˜€οΈ

There is a great, really old song (1977) called “Two tickets to paradise” by Eddie Money. If you were offered one ticket to paradise, where would you go? I want to share my idea of paradise on earth and it is captured in the following video: youtube.com/shorts/MPyXreLlBCo

Isn’t it lovely πŸ₯°? I must admit, before this trip, Hawaii had been #1 on my bucket list since I was a kid. I have always wanted to go and experience the feeling of being in paradise. As a kid, you don’t have any idea of how or when this will happen, but you just “don’t stop believing” (title of another great song πŸŽ΅πŸ˜€) that it will happen one day.

Sometimes dreams do come true and the perfect alignment of time, resources and ability opens up the opportunity to discover and experience a place that you have never been before but have always wanted to go.

This particular day, as captured perfectly by the video, was a perfect day to experience the wonderful Hawaiian weather and its amazing tropical 🐠 🌴 views. If you can believe it, those views were from the beach at the hotel πŸ˜ƒ.Looks like views taken from a particular excursion but they are not.

Get that one or two tickets 🎟 to paradise, wherever that may be (Bali, Bora Bora, New York, London etc.) You absolutely deserve it and it is calling your name.πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸ™Œ

Once Upon a Cruise 🚒

Once upon a cruise, I had the time of my life πŸ˜ƒ! There was a lot of singing and most certainly a lot of dancing like the video captured here: youtube.com/shorts/ZFHUBtD0vk4

Doesn’t this look like fun? 😜 The video gives you some idea of the overall atmosphere on this Carnival – Western Caribbean cruise. The place where all of this fun takes place is called the Lido Deck. That is where dance parties, exercising and other entertaining group activities take place. This place can accommodate the largest number of guests at the same time.

If you have seen other blog posts of mine, you have undoubtedly seen a few concerts from the cruise ships. The concerts happen on the Lido Deck. As you might imagine, there are extra protocols being followed in the pandemic world that we live in now, but rest assured, this type of entertainment continues on, albeit in a limited capacity.

Once you are comfortable with taking a cruise, I encourage you to do so. I am sure that the industry would love to have new and experienced cruisers, as their industry has lost billions of dollars as a result of the pandemic.

NASA Moon Views – Wow🀩

Space – the most definite final frontier! Going to the moon and outer space is something that will be more of a reality for outer space seekers as time goes on. Until then, take a look at this visit to the moon gallery at NASA: youtube.com/shorts/5P4hd72Gm_0

This was such a cool experience that I thoroughly loved it πŸ₯°. As I indicated in my previous post, if you have never visited NASA, do yourself a favor and take a visit. There is just a natural fascination with space. The unknown provides so much mystery and excitement at the same time.

Almost the feeling (but to a greater degree) that you get when you have never been to a place but you have always thought it would be cool to go. We have often wondered if there is intelligent life out there also. Due to this natural curiosity, we explore and explore some more.

Space X and Blue Origin are making space dreams come true. They are boldly going out in space during a time in which there is so much curiosity and demand to go. Before these companies, it was just NASA the original pioneers in space explorationπŸ˜€

Talking to the Moon🌝!

How I love to visit NASA!πŸ˜ƒSuch a great place to go and explore. Maybe it is just my fascination with all things space. I would love to be able to visit space one of these days. Looks like that is starting to happen these days, with different SpaceX missions. In the meantime, I took a NASA visit to the moon and it is captured here: youtube.com/shorts/kFC8nYzFeZ8

I guess my first love for all things space started with the movie E.T. and with the Star Wars movies. Both really peaked my interest in space, in addition to the different space launch missions from NASA. Visiting Cape Canaveral as a kid really put my love for space over the top!πŸ˜ƒ

The above video was taken at the NASA Johnson Space Center located in Houston, Texas. If you have ever heard of the saying, “Houston, we have a problem” – the person that said it, said it at the Johnson Space Center. Fun factπŸ˜ƒ!

This moon exhibit was located in an area that is called the Astronaut Gallery. There you can take cool pictures and videos of the moon, in addition to touring a space shuttle. There are so many other activities that make for a long and enjoyable day. I definitely recommend visiting this wonderful place especially if you are a lover of all things space l, like I am!
