What a sight to see that it was. Just an amazing sight to behold. Before this experience, I had never seen one of these in person but cannot wait to see another one. These vents allow steam and other gases to emit from the base of the volcano. The steam was very hot 🥵 which contrasted nicely with the cold weather that was outside.
If you ever have the opportunity to visit the Volcano State Park in Hawaii, please do so. It is such an incredible place to visit while you are there. You will be so glad that you did!
This sounds so interesting! I feel like we all talk about volcanoes, but few actually get to experience something like that first hand. Hawaii has always been on our list of must visit locations, so we’ll have to make a point of adding the Volcano State Park to our travel plans.
