Hold on to your Hat 🧢 👒!

Hold on to your hat! Such an incredible ride aboard the tour boat on the Belize River. It is totally a ride for the ages and I have captured it here: youtube.com/shorts/FBgp6AzNU7g

This ride was very cool 😎. I must say that my tour of the Belize River was not this fast for the entire ride. There were times in which the tour boat operator was required by law to go fast along the river and times in which he could go slow. These fast times were at the highest speed that I had experienced during a boat 🚤 tour.

The actual duration of the tour was an incredible 6 hours 😳. Hard to believe huh?🤔. It was still so fantastic. A wonderful opportunity to experience all of the sights and sounds of Belize and the tour included a very tasty lunch at the Iguana 🦎 Stop restaurant which I highly recommend.

Belize was on my bucket list and I am so thankful to be able to check it off my list. If you have never been to Belize, please plan a visit. You will enjoy all that Belize has to offer.

Daily Dose of Vitamin Sea 🌊 😎!

That water is a perfect color of blue. It is so very inviting. There are times that I wish I can teleport to different parts of the world 🌎. Maybe this technology will exist one of these days but in the meantime, imagination will do.

This particular video was captured in the downtown area of the Big Island. Down in this area of town is where the Iron Man Competition is held. Competitors also train in this area of town. Pretty cool huh 🤔?

As you can see, this was a picture perfect day to be out and about. I was living out a childhood dream that I had so many years ago to set foot on the island of Hawaii. I was certainly not disappointed and I look forward to visiting more Hawaiian Islands as I continue my travels.

Dance Vibes for a Tuesday🕺🏾💃!

This was one of the best times that I had on a cruise. The video above captures the dance party which was a part of the sail away celebration. I am assuming other cruise lines have pre-sail festivities also. It was a great send off to say the least. 😂

In the video, it looks very weird to have so many people concentrated in one place. This was the way we use to interact on a cruise prior to the pandemic 😷. Hoping that these times come back soon.

Havana Vibes

Nothing like experiencing the peace and calmness that the early morning brings. There is perhaps not a better time to hear the sounds of the rushing waters of the beach 🏖 or to hear the birds chirping at dawn. Every morning should start like this 😂. Maybe this will be the reality for me during retirement but in the meantime, I am glad to have captured this poolside moment. This moment was captured around 6:30am one beautiful morning during my vacation. As you can see, I was the only one there so it was a perfect time to capture the stillness of the day.

If you have followed this blog, you realize that I really, really love tropical destinations 😎❤️🙌! This has been the best shot that I have ever taken in a tropical 🌴 location! I am definitely in awe from this video each time I watch it.

Shivers from 30,000 feet😀!

Nothing like the beauty of the sky that provides such a sense of awe. Flying has become my second best mode of transportation. I love it and I love having the window seat to observe these type of views. As I mentioned in a previous post, due to the pandemic, I no longer take these views for granted. When the world came to a screeching halt on last year, I miss seeing these type of views.

I have made a personal vow to myself that I will see more of the world. No matter how much you have seen of it, you want to see even more. I long to cover the earth before it covers me 😂. A lot of cool places still to explore and I plan on doing it.

Cover me in Sunshine🌞

Happy New Week to all 😊! Hope that you had a wonderful October and that your November will be equally enjoyable. One thing about tropical locations, they are rarely affected by the seasons. Wonderful beach vibes for sure. I have always envisioned retirement from a coastline like this. Being covered in sunshine in a tropical location such as Cozumel, would certainly make life so enjoyable 😀.

In the above video, you are seeing the view from my beach chair. I remember the feeling of the wind blowing and the sounds of children and adults enjoying this beautiful day. Nothing else like getting sun and having fun at the beach 🏖.

In all of my travels, I have never come across a beach that I did not like. They are always beautiful and always provide much needed calm and relaxation. Something about the sky above and the sand beneath that gives you peace within 😀🙌!

Best View – Hardest Climb 🧗‍♀️😀

As the old adage goes: “The best view comes after the hardest climb” – it is most certainly the case for today’s video, which I have posted here: youtube.com/shorts/uH4yARD52-0

It is a short, beautiful capture of the courtyard of the Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort. Lovely manicured landscape and beautiful flowers 💐 in addition to lush vegetation. Looks like paradise to me!😃 Never in my wildest dreams, could I have envisioned such a place.

You may ask the question, “Did you have to climb anything to see this view?”. There was not a physical structure that needed to be climbed to see this. The mountains that had to be climbed were fear, doubt and despair brought about by the pandemic of 2020.

This particular Hawaii trip had to be postponed a number of times in 2020 before it was actually taken in 2021. I was very anxious over this trip because it represented the first one that I would take after lockdown and quarantine. I am so glad to report that it was one of the best trips that I have ever taken and it was one of the safest ones also.😀🙌🙌

So yes, sometimes the best views do come after the hardest climb. Certainly the hardest climb that I have ever endured!

Sky Above, Earth 🌍 Beneath!😁

I happened to look out the window, as I was preparing to land, and saw this excellent view. Could not help but capture it. My only regret is that I did not capture more of it 😂. It is one of the best sky views that I have ever captured.

My love of the window seat on a plane, centers around looking at all of the beauty that you only see when you are flying✈️. No other way to observe the beauty of the earth from such a high altitude 🌍 except by flying the friendly skies!

Down through the years, I have observed snow capped mountains, bodies of water, hills and valleys etc. all from the window seat of the plane. I have learned, after not traveling much last year, that I should not take these views for granted.

Hopefully as you travel, you will observe the beauty of the earth a little bit more as you fly the friendly skies 😄🙌

Looking out from my balcony window provided some much needed relaxation to my otherwise stressful week. We get away to relax and cast off the cares of the world. Kalahari, from this balcony view, and from all of the indoor water park rides, provided a welcomed respite.😆

If you have followed this blog, you have seen a myriad of various places that I have discovered from my travels across the world. This particular place is found right here in the USA 🇺🇸, in small town Texas, by the name of Round Rock. I think that the only reason that I have heard of it, is that I live here in the state. 😂 Otherwise, I might not have visited the city at all.

There are Kalahari Resorts in other states. so I encourage you to visit should your travel plans allow it. This was my first time visiting the resort but certainly won’t be my last. I enjoyed every last bit of the time that I had there. It is a fairly new resort, having opened in November 2020, but by the looks of the crowd when I visited, the secret was out. It was packed – to my surprise!

I love sky views from airplanes😻 ❤️! No matter what airline I fly, I always have a window seat preference designated on my profile 😂. It is an absolute must for me. Lovely views indeed 😃. It doesn’t matter how many times you fly, there is always something new to see. I have become more grateful for these views since the pandemic 😷. We all might be guilty of taking these views and trips in general for granted, until we could not take trips anymore.

This particular video was captured during a recent trip to Dallas where I was connecting to another flight ✈️. Did not expect to see these views but I greatly appreciate beauty in all of its forms 😂. Could not help but capture it when I see it.
