La’ Aloa Bay Beach ParkπŸ˜ŽπŸŒ΄πŸ˜»πŸ–

Excellent beach views while driving along the streets of Kona Hawaii. This has been an absolute dose of paradise that has been greatly needed. Please check out the link here: πŸ‘‰youtube.com/shorts/H92Z13vAfKA

In addition to beautiful black sand beaches (which have been discussed and shown in previous posts), and green sand beaches, the link above shows a traditional white sand beach. La’ Aloa Bay Beach Park was definitely a sight for sore eyes πŸ‘€ πŸ˜€. It is located in the heart of the downtown area, near where the IronMan competition is held.

On this day, it was so beautiful outside, and the water was nice and so very warm. That is why there were so many people there. Getting the daily dose of Vitamin Sea is so important and I am so glad that I got mine from visiting this great place! πŸ˜€πŸ™Œ

Walking into the weekend on Punalu’u Beach πŸ– 😎 🌴

Fun times visiting Punalu’u Beach Park youtube.com/watch it was such a blast. I never knew how much I missed these vibes until I got the opportunity to visit it for the first time since 2020. Sand beneath and sky above = peace within 🀩.

There is something about the combination of waves, sun, sand and sound of the ocean that becomes so very addicting. There is absolutely no way to get enough of this great vibe. It is so very addicting, so you long to go again.

This was a beautiful day on the beach πŸ– with not a bunch of people visiting on this particular Friday. From my hotel, it took about an hour to get here but it was so well worth it.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about this particular beach πŸ– if you are thinking of visiting Hawaii in the near future.

Happy Earth Day from Kahuna Falls! 🌍

Happy Earth Day to everyone! πŸ˜€Hope that you are having a great day. We are all living in this world so we all have a shared responsibility to care for the world that we live in. It we all practice Earth Day awareness and sharing everyday, we can really make a difference in a positive way!

I have shared a beautiful nature video of Kahuna Falls on my YouTube channel- it shows the wonderful beauty of the earth and one of its natural wonders. Feel free to check it out here: youtube.com/shorts/8csZFOTMq8g

Nature and travel in general, has a way of taking your breath away and also can leaving you speechless 😢. Natural wonders in all of its magestic forms, makes us acutely aware that we are just a small part of the world. Yet we can do so much if we all just do our part.

Have a wonderful day and stay safe! πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘‹

Wow- Akaka Falls is amazing 😻!

Rarely, nowadays, do you come across something that truly takes your breath away! Well, for me, that time has come – ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Akaka Falls: youtube.com/watch

It totally exceeded my expectations. Such a great experience all around. It was time well spent driving the 2.5 hours, through the beautiful mountains of Hilo, to see this great sight! 😍 It left such of a lasting impression on me that I will look for places where there are waterfalls in order to book future vacations.

As part of my travel experiences, I look for excursions that I have never done before. This was one of those type of excursions. I have heard a saying before that, you only live once but if you do it right, once is enough. I certainly subscribe to that philosophy! πŸ˜€πŸ™πŸ‘πŸ™Œ

Hope that you enjoy the video and make sure t lo check this blog for more travel journeys! Have a wonderful day πŸ˜€πŸ™Œβ€οΈ

VolcanoesπŸŒ‹ in Hawaii (so amazing 🀩)!

One of the most interesting places that I visited during my time on the Big Island in Hawaii was the Volcano National Park. What a great place to visit while you are in Hawaii! 😊 This was one of the sights that was included in the Deluxe Volcano Experience that Kailani Tours offers in their tour package.

The Volcano Experience offers a comprehensive tour of the island (coffee tour in Kona, Punalu’u Beach Park, etc.) The richness of the experience is seeing a live, active volcano πŸŒ‹ before your very eyes – which is a phenomenal experience. The tour takes you to Mount Kilauea where you can take pictures of the volcano both in the day and at night after you have finished the tour provided dinner.

Here is a quick video of Mount Kilauea in the day. It was wonderful to behold. My night pictures were too dark to share here but you will get the idea. To see more sights and sounds of Hawaii and other epic locations, feel free to follow me at travelfitguru on every social media platform. Enjoy 😊!

A week in Paradise πŸ– 🌴 β˜€οΈ

It was a very long time coming but I finally took my first trip since the pandemic on last week. It was a trip to a location that for years, had been on the bucket list. That location was Hawaii! πŸ™ŒπŸ˜ƒ

Visiting the Big Island of Hawaii (via Kona) was a complete dream come true! I could not believe my eyes seeing the picturesque landscape of mountains, beaches, waterfalls (oh my πŸ˜ƒ). One more thing, Hawaii has volcanoes πŸŒ‹. Truly unbelievable having all of the above in one location literally miles away from one another. The climate and elevation changed as you drove through the mountains and adventured to the Volcano State Park. You went from 85 degrees Fahrenheit on the beach to between 30 and 40 degrees at the volcano and in the mountains.

The people were so very friendly and so accommodating! Some of the best folks that I have ever met. I can truly say that out of all the various places that I have visited, this is truly the best. Here is a video of the sights and sounds of this beautiful paradise. More to come..

Last Day of 2020 πŸ˜€πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ™Œ – thought we would never get here!

What a year 2020 has been! Hard to believe this is the last day of a year that will forever be remembered for the pandemic, social injustice marches, masks, loved ones that were lost etc. This year has had its share of ups and many more downs. Through it all and in it all, we have made it to the final day. 😊

I am very hopeful for a wonderful and prosperous New Year for myself and for us all. πŸ™Œ Hoping that we return to some since of normalcy within 2021. I believe that things can and will get better. We must keep the faith that better days are coming.

Thankfully I was able to do some traveling prior to the lockdown and quarantine period in March of this year. I was able to take a cruise to the Western Caribbean (Costa Maya, Cozumel and Belize). Also once the lockdown was lifted, I was able to take a staycation and visit a few places.

Attached below are some highlights from my 2020 posts from Instagram (travelfitguru). Feel free to connect on that platform and on Twitter and TikTok. Hope that you enjoy and that you have a wonderful and prosperous New Year! 😊

Dinner Cruise 🚒 Vibes

Reminiscing on very good times earlier this year onboard a Carnival Cruise to the Western CaribbeanπŸ˜ƒπŸ™Œ. The ship was at reduced capacity but everyone on board enjoyed the wonderful vibes.

It seems by looking at the video attached below that this is not an event that happened in 2020 but really of a long, forgotten time that was mask 😷 free. This was in fact, back in March 2020. That time was the calm before the proverbial storm!

I hope that you enjoy this video and I definitely hope to return to these times again. Until that time, stay safe and healthyπŸ˜ƒ!
